pvblohoney asked: Thanks for sharing that piece! I really enjoyed it. As far as Chuckanut Drive, I wish I knew what you were talking about. I'm not really from Washington either. I was actually visiting there with my best friend 'cause she's got family there as well. It was actually only my second time in Washington. I'm from Hawaii actually. Have you ever been? I must say, I do miss the sun hehe. But god, do I love Vancouver!
I can see why your missing the sun…. ‘s been a few grey days here on the west coast. I’m stoked cause the garden doesn’t need as much attention and its much more workable. Cant say I’ve been to Hawaii before, but there’s been talk about a trip out that way sometime this year. Hopefully the cards land that way, would love to check it out. Hope you have a wonderful trip to van, if you’re there for Saturday morning, right in the west end there’s a market that’s worth a gander. Its at Nelson Park on Comox st. and is kind of a community affair. Lots of fine food! The farm stands may lack a little due to it being early in the season but there’s quite a few awesome booths offering breads, treats, meats, etc. Queen Elizabeth Park is gorgeous too if u get the chance. Highly recommend it. If you like Indian food, Vij’s is second to none in the area. So bloody awesome. Its up on Granville on the south side of the bridge. Enjoi yer stay! Oh and if you are heading south to Seattle area from the boarder, head to Fairhaven and take the detour down chuckanut drive. It links back up to the highway, and this time of year is definitely the time to take it. So stunning. Worth the fourty minute detour… Take care…
